Mimi O. Chun presents a sweet take on Mark Rothko’s “multiform” paintings, a tribute to an artist whose signature moody style was, more often than not, a few cups short of this kind of sugar.
New York based Chun, design director at General Assembly, posted these Rothko inspired treats to her instagram account before they quickly started making their way around the web. Respecting Rothko’s more serious approach to his art, Chun tweeted, “Many heartfelt thanks… and apologies to Mark, if he’s cringing from the grave.”
