I posted about this guy a while back when Block Club was first starting to do some video work.
This is the fourth video collaboration between Madrid-born Kilian Martin and Brett Novak, and they just keep pushing the envelope. The attention to detail and craftsmanship from both the skater and filmmaker is breathtaking. They both make it look easy.
The two made their way into the Mojave Desert to film at an abandoned, dilapidated waterpark, originally built in the early 1960s. Lake Delores Waterpark (which also operated under the name Rock-A-Hoola Waterpark) saw peaks, downturns, closings, and multiple owners, and finally closed its doors for good in 2004.
Mercedes Benz interviewed both Martin and Novak about the project, so check that out here.
Stay tuned for more from these guys.
