Hard at work on the next issue of Block Club, called Quality/Quantity. Tomorrow we head into the studio for an exciting collaboration with one of Buffalo’s most progressive workshops. Stay tuned for updates, but in the meantime, pencil yourself in for the Buffalo Small Press Book Fair on April 6-7, where we’ll have a table for the first time!

Here at the office, we all have very eclectic tastes in music, so it’s hard to guess what anyone might be listening to at a given time. One thing you can pretty much count on, however, is that I’ll get in a daily dose of Cam’ron. Gotta have me some Diplomats.
While I love Cam for his clever wit and word play the production on his songs always reel me in.
In the early and mid 2000s, it was the Heatmakerz, then a bunch of Kanye West, but Cam’s most recent favorite producer is a young fellow who performs under the moniker, AraabMuzik. He’s playing in Buffalo on Friday night, and I’ve been excited for months. He is an absolute monster on the MPC and above is a video to prove it.
