In celebration of the summer solstice, the city of Poznan, Poland set a new world record, releasing 15,000 paper lanterns into the night sky. Yesterday, on the eve of Mahatma Gandhi’s death, hundreds of young Calcutta schoolboys dressed as the peaceful political figure in a rally to promote his historically non-violent ideology. With 485 participants, the group set a new Guinness World record, beating out the last Muhatma Ghandi lookalike gathering (255 lookalikes) by an impressive margin of 230 perfect looking bald caps.
